Trained by both TympaHealth & Clear Clinics, we offer Microsuction – the modern technique for Ear Wax Removal. This method is widely recognized as the safest, gentlest, and most effective way to remove excess wax.

We recommend using Earol® spray or Olive Oil drops (not kitchen oil) and spraying once in each ear, daily, for 5 days, but not to use on the day of the appointment.

This gentle olive oil spray softens wax in the ear canal, making removal both easier and more comfortable. For effortless application, just spray it directly into the ear, ensuring the process is comfortable and simple.

We can carry out the procedure either in our clinic or at your home, depending on which is most convenient for you. However, a home visit will require an upright seat as well as a nearby plug socket.

• Firstly, we take a brief medical history and store it securely.
• We will take photos of the inside of your ear canal using a high-definition endoscope camera. As a result, we are able to clearly identify any wax buildup.

We perform microsuction using gentle suction, under direct visual guidance.

• You may hear a small noise from the suction device during the procedure — this is completely normal.
• There should be no pain during the procedure.
• For your reference, we may also record a short video of the procedure.
• When wax is hard and compacted, a slight tender feeling may occur.
• If all the wax cannot be removed, a second appointment will be required. We charge this at half price.
• In the event that no wax is found, the charge will be just £20.

• We will take more photos.
• Photos and video’s can be view and compared with before and after pictures.
• All images will then be stored securely.
