AFTER
LACUNA METHOD £40 – Fungal Nail Treatment
This treatment creates micro holes in the nail so antifungal spray can reach the infection underneath: This stops the infection spreading and allows the damaged nail to grow out.
- Nail reduction & debridement
- Following assessment, the nails are carefully thinned to reduce the infected nail.
- Firstly removing loose, crumbly, and fungal-infected nail material.
- Creating access channels (lacunae)
- Small micro holes are opened up within the nail plate.
- This allows treatment to reach the fungus beneath and within the nail, where it actually lives.
- Antifungal application
- Subsequently, a professional-strength antifungal solution is applied directly into these micro holes to target the infection.
- Much more effective than surface-only treatments.
- Ongoing clearing as the nail grows
- Healthy nail grows upwards while infected material is gradually eliminated.
- Ongoing follow-up visits help maintain nail clarity and help the overall effectiveness of the treatment.

CRYOTHERAPY £80 – Verruca Treatment

Cryotherapy Video
Using Liquid Nitrous Oxide (N₂O) the CryoIQ is a Portable Cryotherapy Device that treats Verruca’s by freezing them.
How it Works
- Mechanism: The device emits a high-pressure jet of Liquid Nitrous Oxide (N₂O) at approximately -89°C directly onto the Verruca.
- Procedure: Each application typically lasts from 5 to 30 seconds, during which most patients feel a brief stinging or “pinching” sensation.
- Cell Destruction: This rapidly lowers the temperature of the targeted tissue and forms ice crystals inside the cells.
- Millimetre Precision: As a result, the abnormal cells are destroyed, enabling the body to naturally shed and replace the treated tissue.
- Immune Activation: Freezing also triggers an immune response, helping the body to recognize and fight the Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) that causes Verrucae.
- Healing: Typically takes 1–3 weeks.
- Recovery: Initially, a small blister or scab may develop within 24–48 hours; over the next 1 to 2 weeks, the verruca generally falls off on its own.
- Changes: Some mild redness or temporary pigmentation changes may occur.
- Sessions: While many Verrucae clear in one session, stubborn verrucae may require 2 to 4 treatments spaced several weeks apart.

Foot Care – PATIENT INFORMATION
Difference Between Corns and Calluses
Corns are small and deep, with a hard central core and painful especially when pressed. They are typically found on the tops or sides of toes and the bottom of the foot
Calluses are larger, flatter areas of thickened skin that are usually painless. They commonly develop on the soles of the feet or heels;
Difference Between Verrucas and Calluses
Verrucas are usually more painful when squeezed from the sides and often have a small black dot in the middle.
Calluses often appear yellowish with thickened skin, (which is the body’s way of protecting itself) and only tend to hurt when very thick and direct pressure is applied.
Another way to tell the difference is by looking at the skin lines: they tend to go around a verruca, but run straight through a callus.
Don’t ignore foot pain it can change the way you walk and may lead to problems with your knees, hips or back.
