Ear Wax Removal – If you are experiencing any loss of hearing, ringing in the ears, dizziness, difficulty / decreased hearing, ear ache, blocked, itchy or sore ears please give us a call.
Micro-suction is the premium method of ear wax removal, using gentle suction to safely extract wax. Trusted for being both safer and more effective than irrigation.
Felstead Foot and Ear Care will assess the wax in each ear canal using the TympaHealth ‘digital otoscope’, before explaining the removal process.
The digital otoscope takes photos and videos of the ear canal, enabling the client to view both ears before and after ear wax removal.
TympaHealth has a team of Audiologists and ENT consultants on hand to offer Professional advice
We recommended using Earol® spray or Olive Oil Drops (not kitchen oil) once a day in each ear, for 5 days prior to an appointment, but not on the day of the appointment.
All instruments used are single use only, this is to ensure the equipment sterile, and maintain infection control.
Should removal not be necessary there will be a £20 charge for the Ear Health Check.
Ear Wax may be hard and compacted, requiring a second appointment for complete removal. This appointment will be charged at half the normal rate.
Where ear wax is particularly stubborn, a third appointment maybe required. If so, this appointment will be provided free of charge.
Additionally we offer Hearing Screening Assessments available at a cost of £10.
